Ningrui presents at Art of Science 2019
Ningrui recently presented his science-based artwork at the 2019 Art of Science showcase.
Ningrui was selected to be a finalist the Art of Science Competition (hosted by the Stanford Materials Research Society), where he presented his science-based artwork along with thirty other finalists. This year's competition was highly competitive and had over a hundred submissions.
His piece depicted chaotic phase images from magnetic resonance elastography carefully placed in a systemic fashion, symbolizing the importance of image reconstruction algorithms, which produce meaningful images from seemingly random raw data.
At the showcase, his piece received the People's Choice award! The other submissions as well as more details about this year's competition can be found here.
