Karan Singh receives NSF Graduate Fellowship
Congratulations Karan!
Karan Singh, a post-baccalaureate researcher and incoming PhD student in Electrical Engineering, was awarded the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, which provides three years of graduate funding. He also received an honorable mention on the Ford Foundation Fellowship.
Karan joined the lab in 2021 as an REU intern and in 2022 as a full-time post-baccalaureate researcher. His work has focused on applying deep learning to transcranial ultrasound, and he plans to continue working on medical AI for his PhD.
